Seven photos stitched using hugin, and taken from the top of Portland Head Light.
Through her special powers of persuasion, my mother managed to arrange for a private tour of the interior of the lighthouse. It has the distinction of being the first federally commissioned lighthouse, and according to some is the most photographed lighthouse in the world (though we’ll admit that’s a dubious claim). I’ve taken many photos of the lighthouse but this is the first time I’ve had the privilege of shooting any photos from the lighthouse.
